Place 2-3 Weber fire starter cubes on the charcoal grate and light them. Fill the starter chimney with the company’s high-quality long-lasting briquettes (Weber Long Lasting Premium Briquettes) or with one of Weber’s premium charcoal types (Steakhouse Premium Restaurant Coal or Premium Express Grill Charcoal) directly on top of the fire starter cubes. After about 30 minutes (when using briquettes) or about 15-20 minutes (when using charcoal), once the contents are fully lit and covered with a gray layer of ash, pour the hot embers into the charcoal grate or the designated grill grate.
